PVPA Appreciates China's Support — Veterinary Vaccines Handed Over at NARC, Islamabad

FLASH NEWS — Chairman's activity Islamabad — The Pakistan Veterinary Pharmaceuticals Association (PVPA), on behalf of Chairman Dr Asim Mahmood Khan, Senior Vice Chairman, Vice Chairmen North and South, and all Executive Members, expresses sincere appreciation to the Government of the People's Republic of China for its generous support in gifting veterinary vaccines to Pakistan. The formal handover ceremony for donated Lumpy Skin Disease and Brucellosis vaccines was held on 2 September 2026 at the Auditorium, National Agricultural Research Centre (NARC), Islamabad. PVPA warmly thanks Federal Minister Rana Tanvir Hussain and the Ministry of National Food Security and Research for their leadership in receiving this important support and for advancing cooperation for a healthier livestock sector. The association also acknowledges Dr Syed Murtaza H. Andrabi, Chief Scientist–Animal Sciences, Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC), for his scientific leadership and commitment to animal health programmes in the national interest. This Pakistan–China initiative strengthens disease control, supports food security, and reflects the enduring friendship between the two countries — contributing to a healthier animal population and a stronger livestock economy.
